1966, with the creation of the U.S navy Fighter weapons school, more commonly known as TOP GUN, shensado allowed airforces to be used, and the new "war match" system was introduced with a best 3 out of 5 match setup and guerrilla ops in between. With both Air Force and tank forces, where air forces could be used to destroy ground units. Fast forward to 2019, ooarai performed their amazing comeback and became a popular and famous school just like it did in the anime, but an unexpected squad of pilots burst onto the scene as the Royal Canadian air cadets began flying as mercenary squads, the most famous was 102 squadron, flying from CFB Borden. This is their story.
