They were diagnosed with a terminal illness a few years prior, leading them to being hospitalized on and off for the past two years. That was, until the day they found out they didn't have much longer and decided to spend the rest of their days in comfort. Or, at least that's what they thought until them and their friend Luz find a strange door that leads to a whole other place filled with many types of creatures.
