Half-drow, half-human ranger Sabríel "Red" Ní Ruaidhín Naïlo lives alone patrolling the woods following Miekelli god of rangers and generally keeping the peace. It is the only way to keep everyone safe from her innate magic, a gift and a curse she can't control. Torn between the hated drow heritage and her human side Red finds herself placed between the past she cannot escape and a future she'd rather avoid. The Underdark hasn't forgotten her, and Lloth won't rest until the sin of House Naïlo is wiped clean.
