Hydroforming is a metal fabrication and forming technique that allows metals like steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, and brass to be shaped. Hydroforming is a type of die forming in which a high-pressure hydraulic fluid is used to push room-temperature working material into a die to give it the desired shape. The traditional stamping method involves welded connections and rivets to construct a specific component, however today hydroforming may be used to create unibody components. Tube hydroforming and sheet hydroforming are two different types of hydroforming processes.

One die and a sheet of metal are used in sheet hydroforming, where the raw sheet is forced into the die by high-pressure water on one side of the sheet. This high-pressure water moulds a sheet into the required shape in the die. Furthermore, metal tubes are extended in a desired shaper using two die halves in tube hydroforming. It is mostly utilised in the automobile sector for the production of light cars and sophisticated automotive parts. Furthermore, Automotive Hydroformed Parts are less expensive, more robust, take less time to manufacture, are automated, and produce less waste than other procedures.
