Eddie Munson's life long best friend Chloe Heston comes to Hawkins and gets educated at Hawkins high. While there she always finds herself bumping into a boy her age with amazing hair (lmao, I had to), a boy called Steve Harrington. They slowly talk more and more and soon find themselves in a complicated love story when the truth comes out...
(btw this is season 3 but with Eddie in it so it might get confusing but Steve works in scoops ahoy, also it's the plot of season 3)

This story is a Steve x oc fem. But at first it's mainly following the friendship of Eddie and the main girl. Steve is just mentioned at times. He becomes the leading man after the whole Vecna awfulness. I will make this into 3 parts; Part 1 Friends and enemies, Part 2 Death and destruction, Part 3 Heartbreak and Love Emma moves with her dad all the way from Sweden to Indiana in the United states. In the small town of Hawkins she's new to school and feels like a freak. She befriends the outgoing Eddie Munson and he becomes the best friend she could have ever dreamt of. She loves him like the brother she's never had. But seeing as something's weird in this small town she's dragged in to events leading to Eddie's death. Emma doesn't know how to deal with life anymore, how do you go on when your best friend in the whole world dies? Well, you could always fall in love with the one guy you swore you'd never ever be more than a hook-up to. The one who helps you cope with Eddie's horrible faith, because he's equally heartbroken over it. This takes place during and after the events of Vecna's curse. Steve's always been the jealous one according to the group, according to literally everyone. Even the kid who supposedly praises him. Everyone tells him that he's jealous of Dustin finding another older friend to have by his side. But no one knows why and that it's not all jealousy. He dropped what he was doing and turned around making cold eye contact with her. "Robin. I'm being serious. Drop it." The girl tensed up and worry gathered on her face for a short second. Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more?
