Sorry for the missed upload last Friday. My family and I ended up with Covid. A new part will be up this Friday and in the meantime, I did upload a new chapter to Best Friend's Commitment today, so you can get caught up on it for now!

** WEEKLY UPLOADS ON FRIDAY **

Abby Hunter wanted to spend one last summer in the same gypsy manner she has the last fourteen years of her life before settling down and co-owning the family bakery.

Her 'always reliable' twin sister, Gabby, ruined those plans and now Abby finds herself in her late Uncle's rundown house seeing to the repairs and sell of the lake front property.

Roman Best has had his share of troubles. After getting released from prison, he found an old lake house to rent and has stayed away from everyone and everything since - except his closest neighbor. A cranky ex-military man that respected sometimes a man just wanted to be left alone.

When his quasi-friend, Edward, passed on and Edward's property was abandoned, Roman fell into deeper solitude.

Until Edward's feisty niece moves in. Suddenly, his solitude life is feeling more lonely than safe.

She plans to leave by the end of summer, when the repairs are complete. He isn't sure he's ready to risk getting attached if she'll just be another thing he has to come to terms with losing.
