During their time at Garreg Mach, Pre-time skip, Dimitri suddenly gains a crush on Claude. At first, he attempts to avoid the fellow classmate... but that proves too much. He begins actively appearing in the figure of his adoration presence once again. Claude, at first, is skeptical... but soon figures out the reason things have been odd between them throughout this period of time is because the crown prince has fallen for him! Claude does not reciprocate. At least, that is what he believes at the start.

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters! Blazing Ice (Winter x Qibli fanfic)
Winter has a crush on Qibli, but Qibli is already with another dragon: Moon. He might have to accept the fact that he may never be able to be with Qibli. This is my first fic so it might be terrible I know it's marked as complete but I'm still making new chapters. The story is complete up to chapter 5, everything else is just extra. Also fixed some grammatical errors!
