There is a girl named Ariana that is crazy and stays in a mental hospital. She has crazy dreams and wakes up before they finish. One day she gets stuck in an ongoing dream about being stuck in the backrooms with her friends. Her doctor, Michael, Michael's twin brother and the guy she falls in love with, Kai, her best friend, Yumi, her ex boyfriend, Bryan, her ex boyfriend's new girlfriend, Briana, her cousin, Mia, and random strangers Julia, Luka, and Jake. 

In this dream everything is flipped around and confusing but begins to get explained more later. And after a while the dream begins to get more and more insane. Then she wakes up from it and begs her doctor Michael to get someone better to help her and he chooses his twin brother, Kai.
