I used to write songs when I was at school but never really managed to get past the first verse and chorus. Giving the song writing up as a bad job...this is where I shall leave my very occasional attempts at poetry. Please don't feel obliged to read!

This story follows Katie through the final months of her senior year in high school. Her nonexistent relationship with her mother doesn't stop her from living her life to the fullest. Approaching on four years with her high school sweetheart and applying to the same colleges as her lifetime best friend she is anxiously looking forward to the future to come. She's also excited about becoming an aunt and is counting down the days until her older sister delivers. Her nurturing personality causes her to stop and sit with a boy being bullied in her school. He quickly opens up to her, but that relationship may become the most dangerous one yet. Rated Mature for violence & Mild Sexual Content.Terminé

Growing Pains
In the day-to-day trenches of high school, it is almost the default-setting to believe we are the main character of our own coming-of-age story. This is not wrong. It's just ours isn't the only story there is. The jocks, the nerds, the cheerleaders, the losers, the stoners, the fangirls, the skaters. Everyone's the realest most important person in existence, all of them, at the same time, first-person narrators to their own stories, stumbling into each other's plot lines, defying the status-quo, catalysts to ups and downs. A deconstruction of all the high school tropes and cliches written over the years, a deep-dive into the psyche of students trying to finish high school while going through irrevocable self-discovery, the most improbable of connections, and the insufferable pains of growing up.Terminé

"Dear Crush, I exist... and trust me or not, but no one else in this whole world can love you the way I do..." He fell in love for the first time in his life. Even after being the most popular guy at school, he was afraid to talk to her, not because she was more popular than him, but because she was different, very different from other girls out there. She was in love with him, since elementary school. Just a single glimpse of him was enough to make her day. But she was afraid to tell him, obviously, he was way too popular and better for a girl like her. But, even though he was popular, he was... different. His politeness was the thing that attracted her... the most. Then one day, their love was sealed by a kiss! Will they ever be able to tell each other and realize, that...
