"The world is ending in three weeks.
No one can stop it, because the gods said so.
So we might as well live while we still can."

Aurora is prepared to die. Her only real goal in life is to turn eighteen, because eighteen is the age that you are given your god-granted gift, name, and fortune. With her birthday falling just one day short of the end of time, Aurora's final wish is to spend that day enjoying her gifts... and avoid the curse of a dead man.

But when five desperate dreamers with a plan to save the world infiltrate Aurora's life, Aurora is thrown into a world of danger, magic, and possibility. And despite her insistence that she has accepted her fate, the question must be asked- what if the world didn't end?

Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. **WARNING** ~contains explicit content that may not be acceptable to all viewers. discretion advised~ "No no no no..." My words trailed "NO!!" I screamed, pulling harshly at all my restraints, attempting to get free, hearing the harsh clank of metal on metal with every movement. Colder than the table beneath me, chills ran through my body. This couldn't be happening, please. A sadistic laugh rang through the room and my head fell in defeat as my eyes squinted closed, not wanting to see his face. "Yes, actually." I felt his disgusting, filthy hands trail down my arms. I could feel him leaning forwards, moving himself closer to me. I couldn't bring myself to open my eyes, so I just lay there, waiting for what I knew was to come. "You're mine now, mut." His voice made my body tense more than it already had. The way he sounded so angry. So possessive. I dared myself to speak, "W-what ar-are you gonna d-do to me?" My voice shook and wavered so much in my fear that it was numb to my ears. Alpha Dave let out a low, calloused chuckle that sent chills throughout my body. He said, in a deadly low voice, "I'm going to remind you who you belong to." * DISCLAIMER- In this story world, each person gets five potential mates! * Blake Daniels' story has been one tragedy after another, Complications littering his route, tripping him on his journey through life. **WARNING: This book does have some dark themes to it that revolve around abuse, rape etc. So please do not read if these themes are triggers for you** Four...That was her name or rather number of servant she was. She arrived at the Valley pack as a child with no name and no voice just wrapped in cloth and a strange necklace around her neck. Raised by the abusive Alpha, Four did not see any future for herself. What she thought would be a death sentence from a heist gone wrong, leaving her in the Alpha King's dungeon awaiting death for treason turned out to uncover more truths and secrets than she ever expected. ********* 'I cowered in the corner of the dark and cold cell. There was nothing but utter silence around me. It was deafening. My ears perked as I heard hissing sounds come from the vent and it made me feel weak and the door to the dungeon open. I could smell something but couldn't tell what the vapors released from the vents were burning my nostrils. I could hear foot steps drawing to my cell. The lights flicked on and I squinted to see a tall and broad figuring standing at my cell door, unlocking it, and walking in. The aura this man was giving out was making it hard not to tremble. I quickly stood up and bowed. "What is your name" he bellowed kinda muffled. I panicked and quickly remembered that the guards had not checked me before putting me in here. I pulled out my speech device and began typing...I looked up for a split second just to see a fist plummeting towards me and everything became fuzzy. I could hear screams but could not make out what was being said. Everything grew darker and darker before eventually everything was all black and my world faded...' ~~~~~~~ None of the remarks made in this story are real. It is all Fiction. ©All Rights Reserved
