In "Once in a lifetime." Mike, a 6'3, 27 year old, has to deal with going through depression and a low paying job of a high school janitor. Mike has a messy appearance and he is a social outcast. Mike has to go through the struggle of drugs and pills. Mike ever since he was 14 has suffered from suicidal thoughts and attempted suicide, but he's always seen this thing before he actually ends his life. This thing looks human? But it isn't. And Mike knows that. So he's determined to find out what this thing is. So through these 8 months we spend with this miserable man the more we find out about him and his past. But will he ever find out what that thing is that's stopping him from ending his life? I guess we'll just have to find out.

About: Elias; a 16 year old boy is exploring an abandoned science lab with his friend when he comes across a time machine. He doesn't think it works, and steps inside. He is sucked into the future where the world has completely changed. He stepped out, revealing he was now in a new year: winter in 2038. Luckily, it was closed, and he went to find help. He came across Vincent, an android, who helps him explore the world in the future, and attempts to help Elias get back to 2022. However, there are obstacles. Some androids had developed a mind to kill each other. But Elias helps Vince survive, while Vince helps Elias travel back. Elias develops a close connection with Vince, and wants to stay with him in the future even though it is dangerous. He doesn't want to leave Vince in the world, but can't bring him back with him in the past since there are parts on Vince that aren't invented and will disintegrate.
