As children, Amelia and Osric were the best of friends. They did everything together, including getting into trouble. But their friendship fell apart after their parents reveal a prophecy in which the two are expected to marry and produce a child that will save their world. After 12 years of anger and hurt feelings, the two reunite. They form a temporary truce as they strike a deal with their parents: Spend one month trying to make a relationship work and if (when) it doesn't, their parents must give up on the idea that they will ever be together. They will stop talking about the prophesy and let them live their lives the way they choose. Can the pair make it through the month without falling in love or killing each other...or worse, being killed by those who wish to stop the prophecy from happening?
