As the title says, this is gonna be a Vanguard G story in the V series universe, with you taking the role of the protagonist alongside some popular characters, and some ocs me and my friends made.
This is my first try at a story about card games, so it might be shakey at first, but I'm hoping I can get some feedback on how to improve. Now for a the story.
You are (Y/N) (L/N), a cardfighter from the US and apart of the team that won and became the champions of American League, Team Gaia Origin. Due to this, you, along with your teammates, Monyae & Willow, are offered a trip to Japan to take part in the new national tournament that FIVA was holding. Along the way, you will meet new friend and encounter some powerful foes. Now's the time to take hold of your future!

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. So if you like Monster Hunter, and for some reason you're not here for the monster part (why are we here? Where is the appeal beyond big monster?), we're here together. Ngl, I wrote this because he is 100% my OC's type, and I had brain worms until I wrote it all out. I'm freeeee! A one shot about a romance revolving around a futuristic institute's cultural festival. As it is, even future soldiers have a normal high-school life. The story is set in the future, where children are trained from an early age, by the permission of their parents, (unless of course, they are orphans) to become Knights. They then become part of the military. Nina is such a child, who joined the V_ four years ago. She's infamous for her wild nature and blatant disregard of the rules and the Student Council. And then, by some blighted twist of fate, she finds herself a House Prefect. Enter Azerkin Schwann, suave, cool, mysterious and with a permanent train of fangirls. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Nina finds a close friend in the drool-worthy Schwann. Everything is going on perfectly; except for a pack of man-killer cyborg wolves, an insanely powerful rival-in-battle, whose aim in life seems to be throwing challenge after challenge at Nina, and the Senior Troublemaker of the School's latest game :- 'Set fire to a pile of straw'. Well, that's not much, after all, what can a pile of straw do? Nothing, unless there's a stack of fireworks underneath. And that's the least of her worries when Nina's fallen head over heels for Schwann. This is a work of fiction, and the characters introduced are purely fictional. The guardians are an ancient race that once ruled over Westeros. They were made mainly to protect, keep the peace and later on to defeat the white walkers that posed a huge threat to their country. When the Targaryens had won the Iron Throne, the tables turned on the guardians as all of them were wiped out in a matter of months. Elena Snow always thought that she was the only guardian left. It was when Ned Stark had taken her in to protect his family for the rest of her life that she found out that she was kept alive for a reason, that reason being to protect Robb Stark from the guardian they called the Dark One. So I basically wrote this book because I hate it that Robb died. I decided to add a complete new storyline to it but to also follow the original plotline. Btw, this is somewhat multifandom... Like there are characters such as Steven and Sam, Louis etc. that are from a lot of other fandoms. So expect a lot of references!
