The story revolves around a small village in India that still is not ready to change its mindset and ideologies with the changing times. The story involves Mrs. Sobti, who is known as a divorcee and is given many terms by the villagers. She adopts a two-month-old female pup. Will they 'together' be able to change society's mindset towards them?
