We only have one chance in this lifetime to enjoy the kind of life that was given to us. We love, sacrifice, learn, and live in such a way that we can all survive. The difficulties, the suffering, and all of the challenges that were thrown at us.

Is it really worth it?

Isn't the anguish of love, the pain that follows the joy that has been given to us, proof that every happiness is followed by sadness?

The truth was a slap in the face: we can never be happy for long. We simply must make it happen; we can never be loved for an extended period of time; we must simply make it happen in order for it to last until the end.
