Hi I'm Nova my name means time. I find my name ironic because strangely enough that is the main problem I have i can't keep track of time, Don't get me wrong I don't need time management classes like most people do. I am a special Case if I do say so myself. I woke up in the wrong time and no not as in late for school type , more like early very early. Round about 130 years early for school.

Nova has no history she has no idea who she is neither does she have a surname. Found at the door of an orphanage at 10 midnight wrapped in egyption cotton and placed in a vintage basket she was the wonder of all. Appeared out of nowhere with no trace or explanation she is the baby with no identity other than a simple gold necklace with the name Nova A ingraved in it.



Hope you enjoy this book I've been thinking a lot about this and I just had too.

The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.
