Emery and Dominic were high school best friends who made a pact with each other to meet when they are 40 if neither is married or attached but soon lost touch with each other. Emery is now about to turn 40. She is successful in her profession, financially comfortable, has great friends and has a wonderful son about to embark on his own professional journey. What more does she need? When her best friend discovers the pact, he decides it is now his mission to make this pact a reality. On the other side of the country, Dominic has never stopped thinking of Emery. Also successful, he feels like he is missing out on something. Does Emery remember the pact?
