When Luca gets home from Genoa, he is excited to see Alberto! However Luca has discovered something about himself . He is gay . He found out because he started having feelings for a guy at his school. However his crush never worked out because Luca didn't have the guts to tell him. But he also understood how he felt about Alberto now.Awhile back , Alberto sent a letter that signed ,"Love Alberto". Luca had "a" dream that night. Alberto on the other hand ,has been pressured by Massimo , who he now considers his dad, to date Giulia. Alberto doesn't understand why he doesn't see her That way but thinks it's what's best if he wants Massimo to still love him. So while Luca and Giulia head to Portorosso ,Luca waiting to confess, Massimo is helping Alberto plan a date for Giulia.

But that cause a big problem when they got caught and they were sent back home but they told the town about the deal they've made in order for them to keep some riches they deeply desire they must make a trade, to keep what they desire they must leave someone who they admire, but they must come willingly, Lorenzo told his family and Luca instantly knew what it means and he sacrificed himself to save his home and family. When he got to isla del mare he met Alberto who suddently had a quick liking to Luca and he looks familiar somehow. Ercole plan to still get everything to be more rich even if it means sacrificing others and murder. Luca and Alberto seems to be getting close every day but they didn't know if it is real love or not. But with Ercole's wrath and the sea monsters warning, this might lead to war. And Alberto was having a different kind of change but trying to conceal it. What will happen? What is Ercole willing to do? Are Luca and Alberto really in love? Why is Luca so familiar to Alberto?
