After graduating from Harvard, I returned to my hometown of Mystic Falls after a long time. Unfortunately, things were not as I had left them. I lost a lot of things and felt like an outsider. It was a challenging time, and it got worse when my parents passed away at the end of a difficult year. 

As the oldest sibling, I had to step up and take care of my younger siblings, Elena, Jeremy, and Jessica. However, I felt ill-equipped to take on the role of the man of the house because of my anger issues. That's why my aunt, Jenna, came to live with us. She is here to help me take care of my siblings and create a stable home environment for them.
