Woody doesn't get riled up. She is the equivalent of a human Eeyore. But she does keep a few dirty secrets. Like stealing her mom's cigarettes, speeding around on her cruiser with no hands, even some low grade petty theft. See Woody feeds off little defiances. A rush junkie formed from a little girl who fell threw the cracks of her broken family.

When Anaca moves in next door to care for his ailing great-uncle, the two strike up an unlikely friendship. Anaca is sort of a Piglet mixed with a Pooh Bear. He's the sunshine to her grumpy. The voice of reason in her rebellion. The only problem is their ages. Anaca is eight years older than Woody.

Woody realizes nothing beats the high of Anaca and over the years, she becomes a ticking time bomb. As her life starts to blow up around her, riddled with one thing after another, Woody can't resist temptation and neither can Anaca. Guilt haunts them both when more time passes and they have to deal with the consequences.
