A few months after Nya's Passing the ninja discover there is a serial killer on the loose in Ninjago. When Kai runs off after discovering one of the bodies, he meets this killer. 
Someone who is something of another realm, not here to kill but here to protect there own. 
When Kai agrees to help this traveller he soon finds out just how deep a single rabbit hole can go. 



•This is an Oc x Kai story. 
•Also this happens after Sea bound but because I don't like making story's where the character already has a love interest so Skylor is never mentioned. 
•I also change the corse of the first spinjizue masters past so get ready for that. 
•Chapter 1 is the description I should mention (I just didn't want to re write it)

This is a Ninjago Fanfic and I want to have fun with this one. This will also probably stay in Kai's and My OC's POV for majority This also takes place after Seabound. And if I don't finish it by Crystallized I'll change the ending to make sense to that season. Also this is not an OC Kai love story. It is us also complete but I'm not posting the chapters all at once. A few months after Nya's departure Kai had not been the same. The once hot head sarcastic is now a gloomy almost mean person, snapping at every and anyone. One day he went on is usual blow off steam patrol he came across someone new...someone who would change him and a small groups life forever. Follow him as he learns there's more threats then the one Pythor posed. I am so sorry for the bad description first actual book I'm posting. Also don't expect anything amazing. This is my first book with a good plot that I'm finished. And hint hint it's not done.... I also recommend reading the introduction (1st chapter) before skipping ahead. But Kai doesn't think of her the same way as everyone else does; he knows that there's more to the supposed cold-blooded killer she is- especially when he makes a surprising connection to something dear to him. But when other forces above the assassin makes their move, everything just get ten times more complicated for the ninja and Kai. Most stories have happy endings with love and peace. One year later, a group of assassins, sent to kill Garmadon and his family, ambushed them in the night. Garmadon and Misako escaped, but their two children didn't. The couple were determined to avenge their fallen children and defeat the ones responsible for their deaths, or so they thought. In the present day, the ninja, Kai, Cole, Jay, Nya, and Zane, with their masters, Wu and Garmadon, discover a large organization of the same assassins that attacked Misako and Garmadon being lead by a powerful and dangerous foe on an unknown island they never knew about-the Dark Island. This foe was unlike others, he was the eternal enemy of the First Spinjitzu Master. Together, the ninja team work their way over to the island to try and fight them, not knowing that a small group, who aren't so different from the ninja, are already working on it.
