Multiple akumas have been targeted at Marinette, not knowing the cause of why. Chat Noir constantly has to rescue her while wondering why Ladybug hasn't shown up. It was only a matter of time until one of the targets actually got to Marinette, causing Chat Noir's undivided attention.
Not only that issue, but if Chat Noir continues his love with Ladybug, he could risk losing his miraculous. Marinette must find a way to divert his feelings elsewhere.
