Batman is dead, exposed to the world as Bruce Wayne by the Joker. His children are left to pick up the pieces, facing the scrutiny of the public and the city suffering the aftershocks of the death of its most famous protector.
Meanwhile, in the absence of the Dark Knight, the villains stage a break-out of Arkham, while an anomaly forms on the island that consumes all who dare venture near to it, ever-expanding. With the rogues taking up slices of the city, Gotham has become a no-man's land, blockaded off from the rest of the country.
Now, the citizens trapped there must now learn to survive on their own, whilst wicked forces are afoot.

Crusader
Gotham City: the definition of crime. The mob, gangs, and organized crime had dominated the streets. The police are mere annoyances to the law breakers in the town, as they have not had Gotham in control for decades. That is until a hero arrives. Or rather, a vigilante. Bruce Wayne is a billionaire who has personally seen and lost so much of the crime in this city, having had his parents murdered in front of him as a child.
