I open my eyes. Through the dusty glass pane beyond the door frame, I see a ruined Seoul. Buildings are nearly all crumbled, metal framing rusted and breaking. Weeds and vines wrap around the few remaining structures, nature thriving as human civilization crumbles away. Crude structures are built by the survivors, barely able to shelter them from the night.
It looks so real. To them, it must be real.
After all, I am the only who knows how to wake up from this dream.

Along with Axel, a group of teenage boys wake up in a train with no memory of who they are or where they are going. They make up the remainder of the human population. When they look outside, they realise the sky is black tinged with blood, the buildings are made of flesh and plumes of smoke escape from the cracks of the scorched grounds. Time does not exist here. Even the sun and moon has abandoned them. They quickly discover they are not alone leading Axel to believe he isn't the good guy after all. Truth to be told, he doesn't even think he's human. When Axel discovers something far worse then he could ever imagine, he knows no matter how much he wants it some stories won't have a happy ending. In fact, this might be the final ending for humans.
