1 part Ongoing MatureFUNERAL MOURNERS - GALE HAWTHORNE X FEM! OC, the hunger games.
According to mythologists, the fragile flower of Hyacinth had its origin in the death of a young boy that carried the same name, a pretty thing that was favored by the god Apollo and known for his looks, a victim to Zephyr's furious jealousy, who in response to the boy's love towards the God of the Sun, decided to destroy him. Thus, while the young boy played disc with his divine friend, Zephyr blew his anger so hard at the iron thrown by Apollo, that it hit Hyacinth on the forehead, killing him instantly and causing great sadness to his innocent killer.
To accommodate the grace and beauty of the poor young prince, Apollo, incapable of bringing him back to his life, planted the flower that carries his name, after his blood.
Hyacinth Driscoll, however, didn't have such a different story. Growing up in Victor's Village in District 12, the young girl was bound to greatness. Her looks did her good until it didn't. She bought herself a one-way ticket to her death: The Hunger Games. The glowing forest in which she lived for around two weeks was no joke, starvation, sickness, and death were all around. All that was left was survival, and oh, the talent she had for that.
Soon after the games, Hyacinth thought she could finally live in peace, that was until President Snow stroke again: All previous Victors shall return to the Hunger Games to celebrate the third quarter quell.
