As the half-forgotten and hushed daughter of an exhausted Potions professor, Leilla Green has lived amidst the sprawling wildflowers and vegetable gardens of her aunt's charming cottage for as long as she could remember. Although she was content being tucked away from the rest of the world, including the Wizarding World in which her father was always occupied, she had always wondered what it would be like. When she is offered a place at Hogwarts, she can finally find out.

The curious little girl embarks on a strange adventure as she adjusts to a new home full of magic and mysteries. She learns how to make friends and do well at school, all whilst shadowing behind her father's rumoured, paper figure. While at Hogwarts, she begins to uncover secrets that he had never told her about before.
