Long ago, an army of invaders, the Wynn, harnessed the power of dragons and threw the land into chaos. Wars waged for hundreds of years before the royal family and a group of mages worked together to erase dragons from existence with magic. The Wynn were cursed as a result, their memories of dragons turned into vague recollections, their eyes clouded, so that they may never see a way to break the curse... or so it is said.

For their crimes against the kingdom, they were hunted to near extinction over the next five hundred years. It is for this that Phinneas Pridwyn, one of the last Wynn noblemen in Palindor, vows revenge. When plans go awry, an opportunity to restore dragons to the world presents itself. Will Phinneas be able to break the curse?

Book 1 of Rewritten: The Inamorate Saga. The great reveal had been beneficial for some. Elves, particularly, with their beauty and grace and quiet manipulation of the world around them. They thrived in the light, able to infiltrate human structure with ease, carving out a place for their kind at the most crucial of times. Their leaders set down territory lines, segregating cities and even states for themselves, for the growth of their people. They flourished, building their empire on the backs of those withered beneath. Fae, however, didn't find such a foothold. They remained in the darkness, hidden away in the tangles of forest untouched by humans, trapped within their clans. The dark ages reigned through those woodlands, void of modern technology and any shade of defiance. Monarchs ruled, surrounded by warriors, enforcing their law upon the common people. Outside, there was talk of abuse, of forced subjugation, whispers from those fae that had made it, that had escaped. Salem had chosen to remain silent. Five years had passed, not a soul knew of the clan he had fled. He had a family, three brothers who had taken him in, who had chosen to house him rather than barter money for the purity he still held. There was a normality to the world, to the life that Salem had forged. There was no reason for change, nothing to draw him back into that inky abyss he had clawed out of. Nothing but a tree flowering ivory petals housed in the estate of one of the most influential elves in their city...

After a disastrous climb up Half Dome in Yosemite, California -Eoin finds himself taken to a different world than the one he was born into. It's a place of fantasy. Where creatures like elves and fae live. It is also a place that holds a deep, brutal history. As an outsider, it is quite possibly the last place someone like Eoin should be. Yet, there could be a reason for his arrival. Eoin finds himself in the midst of a civil war between the most unlikely of things. Dragons. A race of human-looking beings who can take the form of true dragons. Yet, their heated war is perhaps the most deadly thing to encounter. Dragons are powerful, almost god-like and many of the brethren have proven that they cannot be allowed to run free with their immense powers. Yet, in the middle of such chaos, Eoin finds himself in the arms of a particularly powerful dragon. And the crown prince no less: Nakiirn. Despite the safety Nakiirn provides, the dangers that abound eventually sneak their way past the draconic protector and straight for the vulnerable human a long way from home.
