It was just a normal mission. Going inside a certain cave and killing the demon that devours people from the village near it, they were supposed to do just that and end the day. Well, things didn't go according to plan. They often don't. 


Firstly, they went inside the cave.


Secondly, they fought the demon. 


After that, they killed the demon. 


But then, Tanjiro turned into a girl. 


Poetic. 


'...?! Eh? How did it escalate like this?'


-Due to a Blood Demon Art, the Kamado boy turned into a female. At first, he thought that it wasn't such a big change, but it seems like everyone else disagrees...???


'...Hmm! Let's do our best!'


Despite the confusion, Kamado Tanjiro marched forward.

Flames danced on the sword she held. Crimson eyes held passionate heat that cannot be extinguished. 


Rengoku Kyojuro could only stare at her back, at her checkered haori that fluttered by the wind. She reminded him of something. 


This intense heat. An ever so wide heart. Bright smiles and warmth that equally basks everybody in it. 


Above all else, the presence that they could only look up to. 


Yes. If he could describe it, Kamado Tanjiro... She reminds him of the Sun.

With Tanjiro Kamado's sacrifice, Muzan Kibutsuji was forced to keep fighting until the sunlight pierced through the mountains, signaling dawn. It didn't take long for the Demon King to be pulverized by the sunlight. Many celebrated as they witnessed his body disintegrating, but others were already aware of the tragic fate of young Kamado-who gave his life to ensure Muzan's defeat and even in death, did not release his crimson blade. However, not everything is rosy, even in death. As Tanjiro disintegrated under the sun, Muzan injected all his remaining blood into Tanjiro's lifeless body. With his blood, Muzan implanted the phrase 'eliminate all demon hunters' into Tanjiro's mind. Tanjiro awakened without consciousness, driven solely by his Demon instincts, as his mind was no longer present. There were no more deaths, but the surviving Pillars had to sacrifice one of their arms and even their eyes to decapitate Tanjiro in his Demon form, thus bringing an end to his life. When Tanjiro opened his eyes, he found himself in a dark place, unable to see or smell anything. Remembering the battle against Muzan, he realized he was dead and sighed with relief, finally able to rest. It was at that moment...
