Avalon Isn't What It Used To Be: Part 2

My world just got so much bigger. When I left Avalon, I was searching for adventure, for space to spread my wings. To grow. To learn. I didn't expect to fall in love with a human. Nor did I ever think it possible that my love for him would awaken a monster inside me. Everyone made it sound like a blessing. By the fae, even I thought it was a blessing.

Was I wrong? Yes, and I'm terrified that I'll lose myself to the monster of many names. How am I supposed to protect the Grove and my family when I have no control over the cold monstrous being?

Fae almost never return to Avalon from the Otherworld--or Earth, as the humans call it. And it's even more rare for a fae to travel back and forth. Avalon used to be a free realm, where everyone looked out for each other, where the crown protected its people. But now... Avalon has warped into an overruled realm of deceit and betrayal.

And I now find myself the target of one of the most powerful Fae in all of Avalon: It's Queen.
