Jesse, the greatest hero in the Overworld, the one who defeated the Witherstorm, the Admin, and many others---went missing. Gone. Presumed dead. With fault pointed at Petra and the Order slowly disbanding, it really couldn't get any worse.
That's what she hoped for. But things got way worse when Olivia revealed she had something in store for not just the new Order, but the entire Overworld.
