"Good, you're all here." Jabnelsa said, We all shared a look and she motioned for us to sit at the table that was near her. "I have noticed something in you as you spend more time in this land. I first noticed it when you saved the spirit village from burning, when you healed the land."
"Oh yeah." Liam said. "That was cool."
"Yes it was." Jabnelsa nodded at him. "Sometimes the spirits of our land find creatures to join with to help our land and great powers too. I believe they have chosen all of you. You all have your individual powers but you also have powers together, that's how you heal the land."
"Wait." Liam said. "How do we know what spirits we're connected with?"
"Some are easy to tell, some are hard." Jabnelsa said smiling. "Luckily you are all joined by the element ones that are easy to see. Abby has the leader spirit, that's how you connect so easily with the animals. Liam has the spirit of the earth, that's why you're so good with herbal medicine. It comes from the earth. James has the spirit of fire. Like it your hot tempered and raging. Via has the spirit of the air, that's why you are so patient and flexible if things go wrong. Milly is the spirit of the water, like it you are fun and exciting, never know what you're going to do next."

Yes, some family's lean more towards one animal but there are occasions where a member will shift into a different animal. It all depends on your personality. There are 22 types of animals you can shift into. Some are common and some are rare. Now we have the birds: the Ravens, the Eagles, the Vultures, and the Falcons. Then we have the felines: the Panthers, the Tigers, the Cougars, the Snow Leopards, the Cheetahs, and the Lions. Then we have our canines: the wolves, the foxes, the coyotes, and the hyena's. Are common because there are the mythical ones too. The flying creatures: the Hippogriffs, the Dragons, the Pegasus's, the Phoenixes, the Thunderbirds. The water creatures: the Sirens, the Mermaids, the Kelpies. The shapeshifting academy is kind of like Hogwarts with the letters and using owls for sending mail. Yes, there is a castle for the academy and no, there isn't any witch or wizards those are supposedly extinct. Now I have to go were going to find out what animal we shift into at the ceremony soon. COMPLETED STORY The agony is like nothing I have ever felt before, I slide in and out of consciousness, I feel the strange sway of the two legged's walk as I am being carried through the woods, I wish to call out to my mate but I am weakened by the torments cast upon me. I have been laid down in the cold snow and my tormenter is digging in the frozen earth, I once again lose consciousness. The next time my eyes flutter open I have cold snow mixed with frozen dirt being thrown on my throbbing frame. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm freezing, hurt, and confused. I rouse to strange smells that are new to me, I'm colder than ever and something is definitely missing. I attempt to stand but immediately fall onto a fur covered ground, wait, fur... Where is my fur?!? Where did my tail go? Why do my paws look bare and have moving sticks coming out of them? Who stretched my legs out? What in tarnation happened to my fur? I guess that would explain why I'm cold. I begin to take in my surroundings, I am in a dead tree shelter but it looks completely different, there is a fire crackling near me but it does little to warm my bare skin, I'm startled by the sound of laughter, I look over and see a two legged is staring at me with a hint of humor in his eye. "You are very confused. I found you almost dead in a non descent grave. You were shot and bruised. I brought you here and made some... changes. It was the only way I could save you." He was there with his mother, little sister, and his two best friends. How dangerous could that be? There was a village up the mountains, neutral territory, called Meridth. This village contained the magician's power of taming beasts, or simply put, Beast Tamers. They say you only have one spirit partner your entire life. Only the strongest of animals were linked with the strongest of tamers. How did the boy with the red scarf get linked with a legend? The legend of the great snow lions scared everyone. They were able to perform magic just like them, even giving them a human appearance to ward off predators of humankind. They were intelligent, ruthless, dominating, and the king of the pride. There was only one white lion left. One day, a man was caught snooping around the village. The man spotted the boy in the red scarf and just knew. He was the one. The powerful lion knew that the boy in the red scarf was him, his savior, his reason. Finally, the legendary beast met his tamer. Positive comments are always welcome. Mcyt - Mythic AU (Discontinued)
In this world you're either part animal, a fantastical beast, or a human. The beasts are called Mythics. The Humans don't quite like the Mythics, and they declared war on them unfortunately won. The Humans banished the Mythics to a far away land, and if caught in a foreign land, consider yourself dead. The Mythic AU world depends on how good a certain Mythic is in morals, which coincides with what they would look like. The Humans of course, remain unaffected by these laws. If the village is always good hearted and has the best morals you would only have ears and a tail. (depending on the species of course). If the village was neutral, meaning they did both good and bad at times, they'd have ears and a tail, but other animal features too like paws or animal facial features. And finally if the village had horrible morals, and did everything evil in their power, they'd be considered a 'Beast'. Now a beast, is a Mythic who has completely lost their marbles and gone full beast, but they walk around like humans, (basically typical werewolves.) They'd be covered in fur or scales head to toe and act like complete monsters. They can also potentially develop other species mutations, like horns or strange appendages. (Take notice how I did this is chapter 3's drawing.) Beasts are able to change humans into Mythics as well, with the intent of course. Never in the world of the Mythic AU has a good beast ever been recorded. Hope you enjoy!
