A Little Story About A Man And A Woman On A Highway
This story went through several iterations. It was inspired by some traffic I was enduring while on the highway. The section I was at curved around this big hill, almost like a small mountain with grass covering the top. I had this idea I called Rearview Romance where two characters would communicate with each other by writing messages back and forth while stuck in a similar kind of traffic. In the original idea, it ended with them dancing on the hill, inspiring others to get out and just enjoy the day and life a little bit. Obviously, it's evolved since then, but this was the kernel for the original story. Also, the Gone But Not Forgotten section below are characters I had to cut from the story for various reasons. No names, no secrets, no lies, no feelings, right? ╰☆╮ He raises an eyebrow at my demand, but decides to humor me. He leans against his motorcycle, crossing his arms across his chest. "Alright, what do you have in mind?" "What about getting to know each other without names?" "Damn, I missed my chance to ask. Now we will be both unnamed." He let out a little laugh. Which is nice so I do the same thing. "We don't need to be unnamed, just not our real names or last names. So what's your FAKE name?" I did put emphasis on the word fake and started smiling, and so did he.
