Amethyst is not your average 16 year old girl, for one she's named after a gem, has crazy curly red hair, oh yeah and something about writing her own book. With parents that seem to control her life and give her no freedom, writing is the only time she feels like herself, where her creativity and imagination have no boundaries. But there's something magical that happens when she writes, it's like she actually transports to the worlds that she creates, because she actually does. Traveling into the worlds she creates, Amethyst has to figure her way out of them and back to reality. Well with british frogs that talk in rhymes, a marrionette world that is controlled by the evil puppet master, and caught between a war built off self-esteem and diferences, all while experiencing friendship, and first time romance presents quite the challenge, don't you think?
