Dan is the only single one in his group of friends, with Phil getting a new girlfriend. All of the girls at his school wear short skirts and low cut tops. They all flirt with Dan but they're nothing like what he wants in a girl. But one day a girl named Lara starts at his school. She's got character and good looks, and she loves reading. But something happens that changes everything, dubbed 'the affair'. After the affair, all Dan can think is that Meeting her was the best thing he's ever done.
