I got a writing assignment where I had to write a five page original story.  Long story short, my story ended up being 20 pages long and about gods that I made up.  Seeing as the is the most I've written all year and I'm pretty proud of (most) of the stories and characters, I'm copy and pasting this here for you guys to read.  Enjoy.
