It's one thing to have asshole older brothers, but it's another story when you're brothers are Merle and Daryl Dixon. The real kick in the ass is being the youngest.
I like to believe that we all loved each other at one point in time. Then again I don't even know if my brothers know how to say that word. I was closer to Daryl growing up. He told me he'd never be like Merle, and that he'd never leave until I could go with him. Which turned out to be a lie.
I was 10 when Daryl left me with our father. He was 18 and Merle was 26. Dary left, just like Merle. He said he would stay, he didn't. He said he would come for me, he didn't. He said he would never let our father hurt me like he did him and Merle, he didn't.
Now that I'm forced to survive with both of my brothers while the world falls apart I'm not so sure I would've wanted them to come for me. I'm not so sure I want to stay with them.

I started to do a trail of kisses up to the back of her ear. The tension on her shoulders started to break slowly as I kissed each inch of her skin. I'd been so worried about how she was mentally doing since the death of Lori. She hadn't processed much after the little nugget was birthed. She jumped into action immediately after, coming with me to get formula, and didn't stop until we got back to our mattress. She didn't sleep much, and I followed her out as she let out what she had been holding all day. I also have been holding back something for the past couple of weeks. If you read this: please do not skip around. Just because the chapter looks interesting doesn't mean you skip the 'boring' ones. I work so hard to write this for you all and I just see people skipping around.... I feel ashamed to have even written this if people aren't going to read the whole story.
