"I rise up next morning. My stomach still aches, but I can get up. Adam wakes up not long after. I start to limp after Adam, who has pretty much healed. It takes us twenty five minutes to get to the nearest town, Boloci. People, who have green skin, are traveling by wagon. This looks like any normal town, definitely not Lyon, I don't know where we are. I look at the sign. Latin maybe? Are we in Italy? Adam looks around and points at a building."

A man and his wife briefly appear to flirt in conversation. It's briefly implied two unmarried characters have spent the night in the same room. It's briefly speculated a married person is having an affair.
