Alec in Underland

Alec Kingsleigh is a seventeen year old young man. His grandmother often told stories when he and his friend, Carla Ascott, were children. The stories were often about her adventures around the world, but the other were about a fictional place she called Wonderland.

Those stories often included people like a mad hat maker, an even madder hare, a swordfighting doormouse, sister queens at war, and ferocious beasts that could decimate the whole of London with a single claw swipe.

Alec resembled his grandmother greatly when she was his age. Long, wild, blonde hair tied back in a loose blue ribbon, big blue eyes filled with curiosity, sickly pale skin.

Alec was bullied restlessly for his crazy grandmother's stories, until he followed a strange white rabbit in a waistcoat, holding a pocket watch.

Maybe he has gone mad, though as Grammy would remind him, the best people are.
