A Fallen AU where instead of Cam going back to his toxic ex, he gets a more fitting story. More backstory. For me, I wasn't happy with Cam's book. I didn't like that the author gaslit her main character, and retconned his backstory and put him back with an abusive, toxic ex. I like softer, healthier relationships, so that's what I'm going for with this. I want to rewrite his story, with more memories of his friends, more of his life before Fallen, and healing from his traumatic breakup with Lilith. So get in and buckle up, we're going to watch Cam heal, and grow. I want a healthy love like Tohru and Kyo, not Kyo and Kagura. More love! Less fighting. 18+ for smut, and TW for topics of abuse, suicide, and self-harm (we're sticking to the canon)

Finn has been the man of the house since he was a child. Simply surviving, he doesn't want any more responsibility than he's already burdened with at 18 - until he helps a mysterious abused girl he met near his new workplace. His caring and protective nature quickly brings her into his life but their budding relationship falls apart just as fast, until an incident and the subsequent events make them slowly come back together. A more mature and healthy rewrite of a book I started writing when I was 14, inspired by the trashy, dramatic, emo love stories I was obsessed with on this platform a decade ago. I was dealing with a lot at the time so I came up with this book idea, where both main characters have dramatized aspects of myself in them, as a way to make myself feel lovable, so writing this now is a nostalgic and creative way of looking back, processing, and letting go of the emotions I was going through as an adolescent.
