"Addy, did you really believe that you could escape me?" His soothing voice sounds out from behind me as I scale the tree and rest in its branches. My mate stops below my tree and looks up.

I heard the the snow crunching under foot as I ran as fast as my legs would take me through the forest. The air whipped through my hair as I ran, creating a ribbon like flow behind me. I dipped and dodged around trees, careful not to trip or run into anything. Just a little further, I thought to myself.
