Not everyone is born equal...
Izuku learned that at the young age of 4, when his quirk first manifested. It was said to be too overpowered. So Je was sent to a place, a place where the over powered kids lay.
No one knows what happens there, secrets wrapped tightly. Izuku knew what it was like, afterall he'd been raised there. Anyone at the age of 15 is either sent to a hero school, kept for longer or even killed, it all depends on their behavior.
He, unlike most of the people at the place, was sent to a hero school.
