Mar is in a rock band with her three best friends: Bev, Jax, and Cat. They are approached by the lead singer of their favorite band, For the Hundred, to join a Battle of the Bands they're hosting in LA.

There they find out their best friend, and bandmate, is dating a member of 5SOS, their biggest competition.

Will they find a way to win the competition and the record deal of a lifetime without sacrificing their bandmates relationship?

Calum and I were talking about FX makeup in scary movies and how the main character always make the dumbest decisions when the elevator dropped us off on our floor. Our conversation died down to a comfortable silence down as we walked towards our hotel rooms.

"This was fun, we should do it again." I say.

"Yea, That would be great, actually I-" He says with this look in his eyes I couldn't quite decipher, so I interrupted instead.

"Yesterday was a really tough day, because of some stuff outside of these competitions kept popping up and you really helped to cheer me up today. I'm really glad I got to meet a friend like you in these competitions." I say before he could start another sentence.

His big smile faltered for a second before he gave me smaller, almost forced, smile. One where I couldn't quite see his secret dimple, like I wasn't a part of that secret anymore.

"I'll see you around then pal." he says before quickly going into his hotel room across from mine.

I walked on the nearly empty bus in New York City, which was very rare. It was the middle of the night and this was the last train going around the tracks. It was only me in the car for a few stops. I was hiding my face with a hoodie. I had my headphones in when he walked in. I looked up and our eyes met. He looked familiar and I quickly looked away. He's probably a fan and followed me. I probably met him at a meet and greet, at least that's what I thought. I felt a presence next to me and looked up to see the green/blue eyes that were so familiar. I took one of my earbuds out. "Hi?" I asked. "Hey. If you don't mind me asking, but where are you from?" He asked. "Let me know your name first." I said still cautious. I paused my music and wrapped the earbuds around my phone and put it in my pocket. "Denzel Weller." He said holding out his hand. "Rose Pitcher." I told him taking his hand. He looked so familiar. His name tried to break through a wall in my memories. I looked around us to see that there was one person left on the train besides us. I took my hood off revealing my turquoise hair. I just got it done and that's what I'm going to my hotel from. "So, where are you from?" He asked me. "We say where we're from at the same time." I told him. He nodded. "1.....2.......3!" I said. "LA." We said at the same time. I looked at him surprised. I took a closer look at him. He looked like he was around the same age as me, 21-22. I studied his features. He had smaller than average ears, an average sized nose, a strong jaw line, short medium brown hair, and then his eyes. I stared into his eyes and saw that they held familiarity.

"I love you!" He calls and I stop, turning back to look at him. Calum and Ashton were pulling him back to calm him down. "Delilah!" He sobs loudly and then screams and collapse on the ground, bringing his knees to his chest and tugged roughly on his hair. His sobs were loud and choppy, it broke my heart. Luke looked up at me and I felt like I was drowning in my guilt. "I love you," he whispered, but it looked mouthed from where I was. Then I turned and walked away without another word, needing to find a quite place to bawl my eyes out. ***** When Delilah Clifford's parents die in a tragic house fire, will she ever be the same? Will she be able to remember what it's like to love, or to be loved again? Maybe a tour around the world with her brother and his band, Five Seconds of Summer, will help her remember.
