Nut has been Wings lieutenant for moons. She knows how good of a captain he is, and doesn't want him to die. But she knows its written in the code that she must do it at some point in her life, and will become captain by taking his. But she never expected for it to be this early.

Dandelion doesn't care about other cats. She only sees them as an obstacle in her way to power. She will get what she wants, even if she has to use betrayal against her closest 'friends' to get it. But now she has a strange feeling inside her that makes her wonder if she really wants power... or another cat.

Sycamore has been a loyal hunter for his whole life. He trust his leader with all his heart, never questions orders, is always ready to fight for his group, and most of all, obeys the code. And with his father as their leader, he believes its his duty to be a good hunter. But when he starts to fall for a she-cat that he can never have, he wonders if he is loyal to the code, or to himself.
