Mathias had always thought he was a normal teenage boy- handing in his assignments just before the deadline, fighting to become a ghost around the halls of his high school while battling his raging hormones, and constantly getting into arguments with his overbearing parents. Little did he know, that the second the clock struck 12:00 on the morning of his 17th birthday that his life would never be the same. Furthermore that he would be pulled into a whirlwind of a millennia long war.

Ella is the typical popular girl- blonde hair, blue eyes, angelic features and good at pretty much everything, but when her parents just disappear one night she finds herself hunting for answers. With a massive secret weighing on her shoulders, the pressure to get back her parents and an overbearing, question asking mysterious boy dotting on her for answers, will she crack under all the pressure?

Together Mathias and Ella find themselves searching for answers. Danger, betrayal, lies and truth strive to bring them to breaking point but will they succumb to it or thrive and rise to the top?
