Sixteen talented students. All invited to get to know each other before becoming classmates at Hope's Peak Academy. But it doesn't take long for despair to catch up to them at Camp Kamukura when they meet the terror bear himself, Monokuma. Up to his same tricks, Monokuma forces the campers into a game of life and death for his own amusement. To leave the camp for good, one must get away with murder. As the insanity starts to consume our heroes, hope seems like a fleeting memory. But is the dread absolute? Can these young boys and girls find the will to hold on to their humanity and prove they have the right to live and beat Monokuma at his own game?
