Poem-Imitating Bob Hicoc

This was for a writing assignment for my college class. It was called Imitation.
I chose the poem A Primer, written by Bob Hicoc, to model my personal poem on.
The idea was to take where you lived or a certain place in your life, and basically edit it into the poem's Structure, to learn the scaffolding of a poem.

I liked it enough that I wanted to pop it on here. I chose a town I lived in for a few years of my life, as a very young child, that I revisit over the years on my way to see my birth family.
