Deciding to return to Hawkins for the spring break after living for a year in California with Jonathan, Will, Eleven and Joyce, Sam Hopper and her best friends find themselves in yet another chaos caused from the Upside Down.

Eddie Munson, the Banished, the freak and the one that DEFNITELY didn't kill Chrissy Cunningham, remembers Sam. 

Of course he does.  

He had noticed her the moment he saw her alone in that one music room a year ago, few months before the Starcourt chaos. He had marked her inside his heart and since then, even when Sam left Hawkins without saying goodbye, the mark stayed there like a permanent tattoo.

The problem back then was, Sam dated Steve.

She never really understood why everyone was obsessed with Steve. Or was everyone obsessed with his hair? She never knew. He could be a real asshole sometimes, too. But for whatever reason, she finds herself becoming closer with him the more they hang out. Maybe the king himself wasn't all too bad. - I've rewritten this book as I didn't like the plot all too much! You can find it on my profile titled "Waiting For A Girl Like You". Maybe what Jeanette needs is to fall in love with a DnD playing, rock obsessed, drug dealer named Eddie Munson...
