Emma Wilson is a 18 year old who just graduated from high school. Life at home and her mental issues has made it difficult on her. What makes it worse is the unexpected car accident that nobody saw coming, because of Emma being the driver; she is blamed for taking the lives of three out of four of her friends, the one surviver is left injured badly. With her mental issues, abuse at home, and the car accident, she begins to struggle and lift herself up with the help of a boy in this twisted novel.
