Two kids just trying to survive high school. Nothing is real to them anymore. One has a secret and one puts on a different face every day. Brianna Irvine, one of the best 800m(2 laps)and 1500m(4 laps) runners in the state finds herself staring at the new kid a little too much. But with her state meet coming up she can't afford any distractions and it's not like he would ever talk to her anyway. She doesn't have the greatest reputation, thanks to her past relationships. But that doesn't stop people from envying her confidence, that only masks her insecurities. Alden Williams is known as the new kid. But that doesn't stop him from landing a spot as the basketball team captain. Everyone is stunned by his skills and shocked that they have never heard his name before.
