My sister is a Zombie, at birth I was taken away, I don't think she even knows I exist. She doesn't trust humans, and doesn't think they'll ever be accepted. I've learned to like it here. But, there's some place I'd rather be. I have bright blue hair, and jade green eyes, but throw a blond wing on and give me contacts, and I look normal. Why go through all the effort of changing me when I'm different from everyone else? The Government is strange. Barely even my own adopted parents even trust me. My adopted sister is my best friend. I hate my cousin he's as cruel and self centered as they come. I don't like cheer, but I have to do it, since that's what we're all about on the human side. My adopted sister even has her own secret, and only those in the family are the only ones who are allowed to know what it is. It's the only thing we have in common.

In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know!

Somewhere there's a link between the zombies and the humans, that we were once all human, until an accident of lime green soda. I am supposedly that missing link between the two. I like being different, I want to stand out, Seabrook is all about cheer, but I'm all about theatre. I was born with the blonde hair, and human colored pale skin, but my eyes are different colors. We think somewhere down the line a human fell in love with a zombie and just like Romeo and Juliet were pulled away. Since I was "normal" enough I can stay on the human side, my parents are great, but closeminded. My sister is wonderful, she's got something to hide too. To hide my eyes, I have to wear a contact in the one different colored eye, and supposedly I'm also just zombie enough that I need the Zband. Me and my sister are about two years apart, everyone is supposed to sign this magic book and relive their parents stories, become the new fill in the blank. For my sister that's being the new evil queen, for her friend who is supposed to probably be her enemy the new Snow White, and so on and so forth. But she doesn't want to be evil. I love magic, and I love my powers, but she's the one of us that's supposed to have some kind of destiny. None of her other friends have brothers or sisters. Royals this rebels that.... Then there's me, I don't have my own story, but I'm still supposed to be evil! My biological sister will be a Freshman just like me in high school and cheer is in her blood. Would've been in mine too had I grown up on that side. But, no even though my sister has silver hair, my parents said they'd cover hers her up, but me with my purple natural hair, not even Zombie green.... They said purple would be too hard to hide. I was only 8 years old, never craved brains, have bright blue eyes, but bright purple hair. I guess that's the part that made me a zombie.
